	Commissioned by Bletchley Park Post Office, this Limited edition Flown cover celebrates the day that Avro Vulcan B2 XH558 took to the skies for the first time in 15 years. On July 1st 1960 XH558 was the first Vulcan B2 delivered to 230 OCU RAF Waddington. At Cranfield on 29 Sep 1992 she gave her last public display and then flew to Bruntingthorpe in Leics, where she was hangared by the Walton family. In Feb 2005 the aircraft was purchased for the nation, partly with Lottery funds, and the most complex restoration in aviation history commenced. Now the only flying Vulcan, XH558 starts a new display career in 2008, which is expected to last for 10-15 years. This cover is 1 of only 1,000 flown in XH558 on that vital first test flight, essential to gain a CAA "Permit to fly". The limited edition Vulcan stamp has been specially postmarked 18 Oct 2007 as a momento of that historic occasion. Now completely sold out and extremely sought after.
